It’s often the question that people want to know the answer to, but never know when the right time is to ask: how much compensation will I get?
Whilst it’s hard to give a definitive answer at the outset of your matter, it’s often easy for our personal injury solicitors Preston to give you a ball-park figure.
So, so that you don’t have to ask the question, our expert team have created a video outlining what different injuries are worth, which you can see above.

When you’re watching, it’s important to remember that the amounts aren’t final. You could be entitled to make a claim for a range of other things, such as:-
• Your loss of earnings at work
• Your loss of earning if you’re self-employed
• The costs that you have incurred as part of the incident, including travelling to and from appointments, or expenses you have had to pay out
• The costs of replacing damaged personal items
• The costs of repairing or replacing your vehicle
• Future loss of earnings at work or in self-employment
And the list doesn’t end there. You are entitled to claim any losses to put you back in the position you were in before the accident occurred, so just contact our solicitors in Preston if there is anything that you’re unsure of.
Another thing that you need to bear in mind is that the amounts given cover a range of injuries and circumstances to each area of the body. So, if you’ve suffered from a broken foot as a result of your Road Traffic Accident, your personal injury solicitors Preston would explain that the amount of compensation that you are entitled to could vary massively from a person who has lost use of both of their legs. (That’s not to say that it wouldn’t be worth as much, either – the amounts vary from claim to claim!).
So, if you want to know how to claim compensation for your injuries, or whether you can make a claim, contact our expert team on 01772 783 314 or email
