Fixed fee to be agreed prior to work commencing with the Private Client Department (or later, by agreement). Naomi’s hourly rate is £200.00 plus VAT per hour. One unit of work is costed at £20.00 plus VAT (see below for an explanation of what equates to one unit of work).  Attendances, consideration of documents, and preparation of any paperwork will be calculated in increments of 6 minutes, which is classed as one unit. For example, this means that if we are in attendance with you or we are considering documents for 35 minutes, this will be 6 units.  Letters/emails sent and telephone calls made or received will be calculated as one unit each, unless they are longer than a standard call or letter, in which case the time taken will be calculated. Letters/emails received are charged at half a unit each.  You will be provided with itemised bills, showing what work has been carried out throughout your matter.   Disbursements may be payable to third parties.
