12-year-old boy dies after being hit by a car
Posted on 22nd September 2019
Our team of personal injury solicitors in Lancaster have recently reported about a case where a lady was killed by an emergency vehicle when it was driving across a roundabout, and, sadly, we now have another case where a young boy has been killed in a road traffic accident.
Cole Roper, a 12-year-old boy from South Wales, was riding his bike when he was involved in an incident with a blue Vauxhall Astra, around 9:30pm on Saturday.
Cole was confirmed as being taken to Price Charles Hospital, located in Merthyr Tydfil, and was later taken across to University Hospital Wales in Cardiff.
Police are requesting that any local motorists who may have dash cam footage come forward, quoting the log reference 571 07/09/2019.
Our team of personal injury solicitors in Lancaster’s thoughts are with the family and friends of Cole at this sad time.
Whilst, in this case, there has been limited information made available about what happened during the incident, if you are involved in an accident and have witnesses or any other information available, make sure you record all the information down, as well as contact details of any witnesses.
Our team of personal injury solicitors in Lancaster are on-hand to advise you of the next steps and to help you claim the compensation that you deserve for your accident.
