Can you be injured on theme park rides?
Posted on 27th June 2019
It is thought that generally speaking the attractions with fixed rides should be safer and maintained on a regular basis with sufficient insurance in place, but what happens if you sustain a personal injury whilst at a traveling fairground? For starters travelling fairgrounds have a lot more risk associated with them due to the fact that they are dismantled and erected again so frequently. The ground conditions at different venues can affect how well the attraction sits on the ground, things can be missed or forgotten when assembling the ride and most worryingly travelling fairground companies have been known not to have public liability insurance in place if something does go wrong!
Whilst most fairground accidents happen to members of the public, you may also have sustained an injury whilst working at a fairground. No matter what has happen, if the accident was not your fault, you should launch a personal injury claim to compensate for your suffering.
There are so many different types of accidents that can occur at a fairground and not all accidents happen due to issues with rides. Maybe your injury was as a result of a slip, trip or fall variety. Maybe you fell due to a pothole that wasn’t cordoned off, or slipped on a wet floor? No matter what happened if you were not to blame for the slip, trip or fall then you are likely to be entitled to compensation.
