Dave, our business consultant
As your local Solicitors in Preston and Lancaster, more often than not we find ourselves talking about serious, and sometimes even sad, topics, such as divorce, separation, death, or when a client gets injured.

To finish off our ninth year as your local solicitors, we thought that we would focus on a slightly-happier topic: ten of the best things to have happened to us this year (in no particular order, for those of you wondering!).

We gained a new Business Consultant!

Dave, as he’s known to his friends, joined our team in March 2019, as our ‘business consultant’. As his profile explains, Dave can be seen out-and-about around Garstang, Lancaster and Longridge, and is always keen to meet and greet our clients.

Chloe Cardwell and Sarah Lees are Solicitors!

A fantastic day for us all, our Chloe Cardwell and Sarah Lees qualified as Solicitors in 2019, and are now heading up the Property Department together!

Chloe and Sarah have been studying and training for just under seven years to become qualified, and are now fully-fledged solicitors.

We couldn’t be any prouder of the girls, and we cannot wait to see how they flourish as solicitors, and members of our team, over the coming years.

Our Wills and Probate Solicitors in Preston (and Lancaster) signed up for Certainty!

To many of our clients, this won’t mean a lot. However, to our Wills and Probate clients, this service offers them an additional peace of mind that, on their passing, their loved ones will be able to check whether they have a Will, and make sure their wishes are followed. You can read more about Certainty, here.

And, the best part of it all, this new service comes at no additional costs to our clients!

Getting au-fait with Dementia

Our team of Lasting Power of Attorney Solicitors in Lancaster have arranged a meeting with the helpful team at Longridge Dementia Friendly Community to find out how we can make sure our offices are completely friendly for people who have dementia.

We will also be discussing with them the chance to offer the people of Longridge who are part of the group, a free coffee morning to discuss Lasting Powers of Attorney, including what these are, how they are used and why they are useful.
