What are the benefits of appointing my solicitor as my executors?
There can be many complex issues involved in administering an Estate, particularly when it comes to dealing with Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and, of course, Income Tax.
If your estate is not dealt with correctly, Executors can be held personally liable for any claims bought against the estate. By appointing a solicitor to act as your Executor, you are in effect, removing the liability from those close to you, and probably relieving them of a lot of hassle and stress. Nobody really likes paperwork, so when it comes to dividing up your estate, to avoid any stress, conflict or error, solicitors are the obvious choice when it comes to choosing your executors.
